FAQ

Straight answers to the questions we hear most

Bad credit, startups, timelines, and dealer partnerships — no fine print games.

Can I get equipment financing with bad credit?

Often, yes. Credit-challenged financing is a big part of what we do. We work a full lender panel that runs from A paper down through C and D paper, so a low score, a past bankruptcy, or a tax lien doesn't automatically end the conversation. Terms will price for the added risk, but getting the equipment now — and paying on time — is also how you rebuild your file for better terms later.

Can a startup get equipment financing?

Yes. We place startup equipment loans for businesses that are under two years old, including day-one startups. Lenders look at the owner's background and credit, the industry, and how resellable the equipment is. A first-time restaurant owner buying a combi oven is a very different file from an unsecured working capital request, and we present it that way.

How fast is approval?

Most applications get a decision within one business day, and many within a few hours. Once you accept terms and documents are signed, straightforward deals typically fund in one to three business days. Larger or more complex files that need full financials take longer — we'll tell you up front which one yours is.

Do you work with equipment dealers?

We do. Dealers use us as their financing partner so they can offer a payment option at the point of sale and close more deals, including for customers other finance sources decline. There's no cost to the dealer and we pay your invoice directly.

What kinds of equipment do you finance?

Restaurant and food service equipment is our specialty — ovens, refrigeration, hoods, POS, full build-outs, and food trucks. We also finance general small business equipment: construction and landscaping machinery, box trucks and trailers, manufacturing and shop equipment, medical and salon equipment, and technology.

Will applying hurt my credit?

Getting started doesn't require a credit pull. We talk through your situation first and only pull credit when you're ready to move forward with a specific lender submission.

Are you a lender or a broker?

We're a broker, not a bank, and that's on purpose. A bank can only offer you what fits its own credit box. We shop a full panel of lenders and take your file to the ones most likely to approve it. You get one application and multiple shots at a yes — especially if you're a startup, credit-challenged business, or a minority, women, or veteran-owned operation that's been told no elsewhere.

Do you only serve Jacksonville and Florida?

We're based in Jacksonville and know Northeast Florida well, but our lender panel is nationwide. Business owners and dealers anywhere in the U.S. can work with us.
